Just wanted to chime in and say the same happens to me. Using Windows 10.

I have this in Player.log in my AppData folder from the viewport if it's any help whatsoever:

NamedPipeReadException: An exception occured while reading from the pipe. Error Code: -5
NamedPipeReadException: An exception occured while reading from the pipe. Error Code: -2

With the -2 error line repeating a LOT.

(C:\Users\<my username>\AppData\LocalLow\Vital Group Ltd\Viewport)

Awesome, thanks! I think maybe the same error occurs when changing capacitor values too as well as some other crashes, all resulting in a complete closure of the application. It's the only error(s) I've seen after a bunch of crashes anyways. :)
