It seems we only need a few more parts available to be able to simulate Ben Eater's SAP-1 based 8-bit computer. Notably, these are missing from the catalog:
74HC161 4-bit binary counter
74HC245 8-bit bus transceiver
74HC595 8-bit shift register
Would be great if these parts in particular could be added! Curious about plans to expand the availability of 74HCxxx components in the catalog in general as well, but I think those are the ones that beginners wanting to use CRUMB to learn logic basics would benefit most from right now.
The 161 and 245 are already available? Just loaded up CRUMB at 4am to make sure I'm not going mad 😂

The 74HC595 will be included with the next update along with the arduino nano, so it is possible to build the arduino eeprom programmer
