User guide
CRUMB is a circuit simulator for Windows, macOS and Linux. You wire real parts on a breadboard, power them, and the simulation runs the electronics, the firmware, the physics and the sound in real time.
Start here
Section titled “Start here”- The workspace and controls: the Home screen, moving around the bench, placing and wiring parts, and saving your work.
- Building circuits: breadboards, wires, power and ground, and finding parts.
- Learning campaign: guided challenges that teach electronics one bench at a time.
Going further
Section titled “Going further”- Instruments: the multimeter and the oscilloscope, and seeing voltages on the wires.
- Microcontrollers: programming boards and connecting them to the rest of the circuit.
- Physics: motors, joints, robots and test environments for sensors.
- Live audio: sound in and out of a circuit, in real time.
- The Workshop: sharing parts and using other people’s.
Make your own parts
Section titled “Make your own parts”- Building components: how parts work, and how to make your own in the component editor.
- API reference: everything a part’s code can use.
Something wrong?
Section titled “Something wrong?”Bugs and feature requests explains how to report a bug or suggest a feature, and how to follow it to the update that ships it.
